Transit times vary by destination and shipping method. Air freight suits urgent or smaller loads and takes days; sea freight is the standard route for full house moves and takes longer depending on where you are going. We include a written shipping window with every quote (Jawad to confirm the exact ranges Becks publishes before this goes live).
We prepare the inventory and export documents in the format the destination customs office expects, and we brief you on anything you need to sign personally (such as a packing declaration). We cannot calculate the duty you will pay at the other end, that comes from the destination customs broker, but we tell you exactly who will contact you and when.
Yes. We use shared container space (groupage) for smaller moves, which keeps the cost down because you only pay for the volume you use. The trade-off is a slightly longer transit window because the container waits to fill, we will quote both options so you can choose.
We hold standard liability cover as part of every move, and we offer a separate marine transit insurance policy that covers the full replacement value of your inventory in transit and at port. We will quote the premium alongside the removal cost as it varies by declared value and destination (Jawad to confirm Becks's published rate before this goes live).
Yes, our Havant warehouse holds your goods before shipment for as long as you need, in the same CCTV-monitored facility we use for domestic storage. At the destination, our partner network can hold goods on arrival until the property is ready.
